I listened to the episode today and I have a couple observations/criticisms. Granted, this is coming from someone with zero "game," but I think what I have to say is valid.
First of all, in order for negging to work don't you have to be ready to walk away if it doesn't work? Your vulnerability is showing, and I think--that despite your best effort--you may still be coming off as desperate. Desperation gives Stallone the power, and you can't have that for this to work.
Secondly, the idea is to play off Stallone's insecurities, but does such a mountain of a man have any insecurities? Your words are but an echo in a canyon, they may connect and bounce back, but will have no quantifiable impact.
Lastly, let's say that this idea works, is this what you really want? By securing Stallone in this fashion the best you can hope for is some cheap and quick chatter. For some reason, I don't feel like this will be good enough for you. From what I gather, you want something lasting, something meaningful. You want some quality, post-confabulation cuddling. You want, at the end of the interview, for Stallone to look deep into your eyes, take your hand in his, and whisper in your ear, "Thank you! Thank you for this..."
If I am right about any of this, negging is not going to work, or at the very best, it won't be satisfying. What you need to do it go out, put on your dancing shoes, stop by the flower shop, and romance the son of a bitch! Show him what a catch you are. Got get your man, Paul!
It's okay! You'll bounce back!
Yeah, it was really a dumb move.
